Clark Mills (December 13, 1810 – January 12, 1883) was an American sculptor, best known for four versions of an equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson, located in Washington, D.C., Nashville, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana. ==Life== He had a studio, in Charleston, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C., at 15th Street, and Pennsylvania Avenue.〔James M. Goode, ''Outdoor Sculpture of Washington, D.C.,'' Smithsonian Institution Press, 1974, ISBN 0-87474-138-6, p. 377〕 He had three sons; he remarried and had a step-daughter. There was some dispute over his will. He was interred at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
